Not accepting the "mediocre" life in the hustle and bustle of the big city, the young 9x girl nicknamed Ha Mo (Freelancer, Thanh Hoa) has been to many places to "trial living" in the past 3 years. With just a laptop and a few sets of clothes, she has changed her working environment, at the same time exploring the land as a lifestyle to diversify her personal experiences.
Ha Mo (Lost Mo) often shares daily activities on social networking sites.
WHAT'S SO INTERESTING ABOUT "ESCAPING" TO LIVE ON AN ISLAND?
After 7 years of studying and living in the bustling capital Hanoi, Ha decided to stop at this island to start a career. She believes that she is truly destined for this island, considering it her second home. "I realized that I do not belong to crowded and dusty cities. The proof is that living on the island makes everything much better, both mentally and physically. In Phu Quy, I have many good friends, this place is suitable for long-term self-development," Ha Mo shared.
From a city girl with fair skin, after a few months of sun and wind on the island, she gradually became darker, with freckles on her face. But in return, Ha learned to swim and dive even though she was previously very afraid of water. Above all, the young girl lived a free and happy life and enjoyed every moment of her life.
From a person afraid of water, now Ha Mo has become very "skilled" at swimming, diving and conquering water sports.
"Before, I just 'stayed' at home, 'glued' to my laptop and phone, so I often had back pain and stiff neck and shoulders," Ha shared. Her current freelance job also requires her to spend a lot of time using electronic devices. But when living in Phu Quy, she has the opportunity to improve her physical fitness by practicing many different sports. That's why she became healthy, active and maintained a happy, refreshing spirit after only a short time. She can still balance and feel satisfied with what she has even though she has to handle many different tasks at the same time.
Luckily living on an island, she can fold up her computer, turn off her phone and run out to the sea whenever she feels too tired and stressed without being scolded by her boss. To relax and be more excited, she often goes scuba diving, SUP, camping... and then continues working. It feels like all the tiredness and worries will disappear when she runs out the door to breathe in the cool breeze on the island, or her heart is at peace when quietly watching the magnificent sunset here in the afternoon.
She often goes SUP to relax after stressful working hours.
Camping and watching the sunset on the island is also an interesting experience when coming to Phu Quy.
WHAT'S SO ATTRACTIVE ABOUT PHU QUY ISLAND?
This is not the first time this girl has "escaped" the crowded city to find a peaceful place. Ha Mo spent 3 months "living on trial" in Da Lat, 4 months in Mui Ne - Phan Thiet in 2020-2021. In February last year, she planned to travel to Phu Quy for 3 days, but on the 3rd day, she decided to cancel her ticket and stay on the island for 2 months. After that, she continued to live on the island in June and July. In February this year, Ha Mo decided to stay here permanently to start developing her career. Of course, Phu Quy island has many attractive things to keep this young girl.
Phu Quy emerges like a bright gem next to Trieu Duong Bay with beautiful scenery, charming mountains and rivers, and crystal clear sea water. When visiting Phu Quy Island, you should not miss destinations such as: Bai Nho Ganh Hang, Trieu Duong Bay, Van An Thanh, Phu Quy Island flagpole, Phu Quy lighthouse - wind power, Cao Cat mountain - Linh Son pagoda,... The most prominent of which is Bai Nho Ganh Hang - where there is a crescent-shaped fine sandbank stretching out to the sea, the water is as clear as jade shimmering in the sunlight with countless black rocks of unique shapes emerging from the water surface, extremely impressive.

Phu Quy is also blessed with rich and abundant resources with many types of fresh seafood. "Since coming to Phu Quy, the amount of seafood I have actually eaten is many times more than the years I lived on the mainland, even though I didn't like seafood before," Ha Mo shared. Phu Quy seafood is often prepared simply but still captivates many food lovers because of its freshness and richness. Coming here, visitors can try some seafood dishes such as: moon crab, lobster, grouper, conch salad, jumping snails and especially indispensable king crab - a dish associated with this place.

The gentleness, simplicity and willingness to help of the Phu Quy people are important factors that make Ha want to stay on this island. "When I decided to stay even though I hadn't rented a room yet, the people around me called one person after another to ask if they could rent a room, then even drove me to the house to see if it was okay. On a remote island, among people I had never met, I didn't feel out of place at all," she recounted.
In Phu Quy, she met many lovely, friendly and kind people. "For me, even the smallest gestures of care and kindness from people I have never met make me feel more optimistic about life. Sometimes I feel a little lonely, but perhaps that loneliness has given me the opportunity to find peace in my soul even when I lie alone on the sand, listening to the sound of waves and the gentle wind," Ha confided.

The sun gradually receded to the west, giving way to the moonlight.
Ha Mo: "I hope everyone can give themselves more experiences in life. Maybe try working in an office, then becoming a freelancer to see if you can 'take care of yourself' and be 'free'? Or simply be determined to learn to swim even though you may have always been afraid of water? Try traveling alone to see if it is as scary as you imagine? Maybe at some point, you will need to go out, to new lands, meet new people because there are still many good things waiting for you."
