Located in the heart of the capital, the Melia Hotel is situated within the diplomatic and financial district, close to tourist attractions, entertainment venues, and shopping areas. Most government ministries and embassies are within a 1 km radius of the hotel.

Melia Hanoi has 306 rooms, comprising five main categories: Deluxe King (140 rooms), Deluxe Twin (98 rooms), Executive Suite (66 rooms), Grand Suite (one room), and Presidential Suite (one room). The Presidential Suite, spanning 165 square meters and located on the 22nd floor, is the most luxurious room, reserved exclusively for special guests and not available for public booking. The premium service floors are located from 19th to 22nd. From the 21st floor, guests can enjoy panoramic city views. The bathrooms in the rooms are also designed with high-end furnishings.

The hotel's designs consistently aim for a luxurious and modern style. Room rates range from $120 per night, depending on the time of year.

The Melia Hotel has previously served important figures such as Queen Sofia of Spain, Princess Anne of England, Princess Chulabhorn of Thailand, Princess Norodom Vacheahra of Cambodia, and members of the Brunei Royal Family.
SOFITEL METROPOLE HANOI

As the oldest hotel in Hanoi, the Sofitel Metropole boasts a classic French colonial style and has been the residence of many heads of state, politicians, ambassadors, and prominent international figures. This 5-star hotel is just 160 meters from the famous Hanoi Opera House. The picturesque Hoan Kiem Lake is less than 500 meters away. The hotel comprises the old Metropole building and the new Opera building, with 364 rooms of various types.

All rooms except the Premium suite (reserved for VIP guests) include an extra bed and can accommodate up to three guests. The Presidential Suite, spanning 176 square meters, is located in the Opera section. The hotel's first floor houses the French restaurant Le Beaulieu and the Hanoi cuisine restaurant Spices Garden. Additionally, there are three bars, five function rooms, a business area, and a swimming pool.

JW MARRIOTT HOTEL
Besides Melia Hanoi, the JW Marriott hotel is another option for Kim Jong Un and Donald Trump to stay at. Former US President Obama also chose this hotel for his first official visit to Vietnam in 2016.
Located near the National Convention Center, this hotel is designed with the concept of a "mythical dragon," symbolizing power and nobility. The presidential suite is the "dragon's head." The suite has a total area of 320 square meters, divided into eight separate rooms. The main living area occupies nearly half of the total usable space and serves as a reception area and meeting room when needed. The suite features large glass windows offering panoramic city views. Currently, all rooms are fully booked for February 26th and 27th.

SHERATON HANOI HOTEL
Located next to West Lake, the hotel has 299 rooms and has been in operation since 2004. In 2006, the US rented the entire 18th floor, the highest floor of the hotel, for President Bush. On the 18th floor, there is a royal suite and two presidential suites, each with an area of nearly 200 square meters.
To ensure security, no one knew exactly where Mr. Bush was in any of the three rooms. At that time, the entire 18th floor and hallway were under the control of American security forces, and no one could access it.
The royal suite and the presidential suite both boast expensive, modern amenities. There are also rooms for the bodyguards and secretaries.

DAEWOO HOTEL
The Daewoo Hotel (Ba Dinh District) is where President Bill Clinton stayed during his visit to Vietnam in 2000. Opened in 1996, this hotel boasts a presidential suite, where many world leaders have also stayed during their visits to Hanoi, including Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese President Hu Jintao, and Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.
Located on the 17th floor, this penthouse boasts expansive glass windows and a large balcony offering views in three different directions. Spanning 288 square meters, it is equipped with numerous modern amenities. Adjacent to it are bedrooms for assistants, bodyguards, or secretaries of politicians, as well as domestic helpers.
