Vietravel Hanoi launches high-speed tourist route between Yen Bai and Sapa.

15/09/2014

Vietravel Tourism Company – Hanoi branch will launch a new tour product with special prices to celebrate the opening of the Yen Bai - Thac Ba Lake - Mau Temple - Mu Cang Chai - Sapa expressway (4 days), priced from only 2.8 - 3.25 million VND.

The first group is scheduled to depart on September 25, 2014, just four days after the official opening ceremony of the entire Noi Bai – Lao Cai expressway. Subsequent groups will depart regularly every Friday.

Specifically, on the route to Sapa National Tourist Area, visitors will visit the Mother Goddess Temple, dedicated to Princess Lieu Hanh, a benevolent deity who exorcised evil spirits, helped the poor, and assisted the royal court in fighting foreign invaders and protecting the sacred borderlands of the Fatherland; they will also visit Suoi Giang and Tuyet San tea hills. Passing through Tu Le, visitors will feel the faint aroma carried on the wind over the rooftops of the "new rice" area, famous for its sticky rice and dried rice flakes; and admire the beautiful Lim Mong village located at the foot of Khau Pha Pass, home to the most beautiful rice fields in Mu Cang Chai. After crossing Khau Pha Pass into Mu Cang Chai, visitors will surely be captivated by the breathtaking beauty of the famous terraced rice fields in the three communes of La Pan Tan, Che Cu Nha, and Ze Xu Phinh. It is precisely because of its captivating beauty during the rice harvest season that the terraced rice fields in these three communes were classified as a National Monument in 2007. Notably, Vietravel Hanoi's tour itineraries not only include sightseeing but also highlight the exploration of local culture. The Yen Bai – Sapa tour, for example, includes enjoying a traditional Xoe dance performance and interacting with the Thai ethnic people.
