Italy, the fashion capital of the world, not only impresses with its culture and art, but also with its diverse cuisine, ranging from street food to sophisticated restaurant dishes. Wishing to bring the most authentic Italian flavors to their friends, the Consul General's family invited 10 Italian chefs and the staff of Pendolasco, one of the oldest Italian restaurants in Saigon, to prepare the banquet.
Mr. Dante Brandi, dressed in a dapper suit, expressed his gratitude to the 10 chefs who flew from Italy to Vietnam to prepare dinner at his residence.
Reportedly, to prepare this intimate party, 10 talented chefs from Italy flew to Vietnam and had less than 24 hours to prepare dishes for over 50 special guests, partners, and friends of the Consul General and his wife in Vietnam.

The chefs worked tirelessly for a short period of time to deliver the most authentic Italian flavors to the partygoers.

Some ingredients, such as tomatoes, olive oil, and shrimp, are personally brought back from Italy by the chefs – specialties of the Puglia region. From these distinctive ingredients, the talented chefs have created dishes such as: smoked salmon with the famous Italian Ricotta cheese; tuna tartare (rare), accompanied by tropical fruits; and tomato salad from Torre Guaceto with Straciatella cream.
The dishes were presented in a very unique and appealing way. Pictured is a tropical fruit platter meticulously prepared by the chefs.

The guests at the party were extremely excited to enjoy the authentic taste of Italian food prepared by Italian chefs themselves.

Guests at the party enjoyed drinks and took commemorative photos together.
Also present at the party was Ms. Thu Thảo from Art Kitchen Studio.
Even more special, guests also had the opportunity to visit Dante Brandi's "super cool" house. It can be considered a miniature museum of Italy, with many works of art and items he collected from his homeland.

The intimate dinner truly left a lasting impression on the guests and successfully conveyed the distinctive culinary culture of the Puliga region in particular, and Italy in general, to food lovers.
