Recently, Lonely Planet announced the list of 10 most favorite destinations in Europe in 2019. According to the famous Australian travel magazine, the High Tatras mountain range in Slovakia is the number 1 place in Europe that you should visit this year.

1.High Tatras, Slovakia

The High Tatras are home to rugged peaks, majestic waterfalls and a largely untouched landscape. Visitors to the High Tatras can also spot rare brown bears, go canoeing on the icy Strbske Pleso River and chat with locals in alpine huts.
