During this tour, the Fribourg Cantonal Choir (Switzerland) will bring to the capital audience many unique performances, imbued with the breath of life. Some of the performances include songs praising peace about nomads, praising village girls, scenes of life at a rural market, songs praising friendship, sympathy and tolerance...
In particular, in this program, the artists performed many songs about children such as "Sleep well," a lullaby with the image of a cradle; a song about the feelings of children after the war; the song "Les enfants de la Garonne" is a song about children in the Toulouse region (France)...
In addition to the performance in Hanoi, the Fribourg State Choir artists will have a trip across Vietnam, sightseeing, learning about culture and conducting some charity activities in the southern provinces and cities.

Founded in 1952, the Fribourg Cantonal Choir is one of the most popular art troupes in Switzerland. The troupe specializes in performing folk songs imbued with the culture of the people living scattered across the Alps (including parts of Germany, Austria, Italy, France and Switzerland).
The Fribourg Cantonal Choir consists of 35 members, currently led by musician Pierre Huwiller. He is the grandson of the late musician Pierre Kaelin, famous for hundreds of songs with mountain folk melodies, dedicated to leprosy patients in the leprosarium he founded. Today these songs have become the main material for the choir's performances.
The Fribourg Choir's reputation has spread far beyond the borders of Switzerland. They have toured many places such as Russia, the United States, Greece, Turkey, Hungary, Canada, Brazil, France, Germany, Austria, Japan... The choir has become an "ambassador of the Swiss state of Fribourg, bringing unique songs with a strong Alpine folk character to the world.
Tickets are available free of charge at the Performing Arts Center, 32 Nguyen Thai Hoc. The Fribourg State Choir's performance will take place at the Youth Theatre.
