Nguyen Huyen (Tiktok We Du Ky), a 23-year-old girl from Bac Giang, is on an 8-month trip across Vietnam from North to South, and has chosen Ly Son as the first stop on her journey to explore the Central region. 10 days on this beautiful island has given Huyen unforgettable experiences, not only about the natural beauty but also about the culture and people here.
The female tourist shared: "Going to Ly Son helps me learn more about a beautiful island in the Central region. Spreading the beauty of nature, landscape and people of Ly Son to more people."
The pristine Ly Son Island is a favorite destination of many tourists.
Ly Son - "garlic kingdom" in the middle of the sea
Ly Son impressed Huyen not only because of its wild and majestic beauty but also because of the enchanting charm of the natural landscape and culture here. Possessing clear blue beaches and undulating rocky mountains, this island has become an ideal destination for those who desire to learn about a land with a strong historical imprint.
Together with a companion, Huyen stayed at Phuoc Loc Guesthouse, where Ms. Chung - the owner - created a cozy and comfortable space like a homestay. "Ms. Chung was very enthusiastic and friendly, supporting us throughout our time on the island," she shared.

Experience "living like an islander"
Wanting to explore Ly Son in the most authentic way, Huyen decided to experience 3 days and 2 nights on Be Island, a small island with clear blue water and only a few homestays by the sea. "As the name suggests, Be Island is like a real paradise. I get to live like the islanders, wake up in the morning to watch the sunrise, have lunch with a sea view, and go watch the sunset at Bai Ngang in the afternoon. There is no fresh water on Be Island yet, so I got to experience bathing in fresh water drawn from a jar. It's quite interesting, everyone should try it," Huyen said.
"Living like an islander" is an experience worth trying for every tourist.
During her 10 days on the island, the female tiktoker enjoyed many delicious dishes and local specialties. She visited many restaurants and returned many times such as Hoang Anh duck noodle soup, Hang Dai seafood rice, banh xeo restaurant, duck porridge near the homestay, chicken sticky rice at Ly Son market and famous snail restaurants. In addition, Phuong Trang sweet soup and Hang Cau seaweed water are also dishes not to be missed.

Huyen and her companion chose to travel to Ly Son from Hoi An, Quang Nam. The journey of more than 100 km by motorbike to Sa Ky port, Quang Ngai lasted about 3 hours. Huyen also shared in detail how to buy train tickets and bring motorbikes on board, helping tourists easily plan their trip.
"We asked Ms. Chung (owner of Phuoc Loc homestay) to help us book train tickets about 10 days in advance with the one-way ticket price being 203,000 VND/person, the return ticket can be booked later for 185,000 VND/person. There are many trains and train schedules every day, so visitors can choose the right time and book tickets. Regarding putting the motorbike on the train, when we arrived at Sa Ky port, we drove straight to gate number 5 (goods) and then the train attendants would guide us and let the motorbike on the train. The ticket price for motorbikes is 100,000 VND/trip", she said.
