Train
Hua Lamphong Station (Bangkok's main train station) is located in the city center in Pathum Wan district and is operated by the State Railways of Thailand. The station has 14 main areas and 26 ticket counters. Hua Lamphong serves over 130 trains and approximately 60,000 passengers daily.
This station offers trains on the Northeast, North, East, and South routes to all provinces except Phuket. Trains are classified into four types: special express, express, fast, and regular. Ticket prices vary depending on the type of carriage and destination.

Subway
Bangkok's subway system has been operational since 2004. The city's new subway system connects many top tourist spots with guesthouses, markets, and shopping areas. Trains run daily from 6 am to midnight, making it convenient for tourists.
BTS Skytrain
Bangkok's central transport system offers safe, cheap, and fast journeys to popular areas. The system boasts excellent service, and the stations and trains are very clean. Two lines are currently in operation, intersecting at Siam Square. This is the best way to avoid traffic congestion and air pollution in Bangkok.
You'll need coins to buy tickets from the vending machine near the entrance. The fee ranges from 15 to 40 baht (approximately 10,000 to 26,000 VND) depending on how many areas you visit. If you don't have coins, queue up to exchange money at the nearby counters.
Airport Rail Link
This is the Skytrain connecting Suvarnabhumi Airport and downtown Bangkok. There are two types of service on this line: the Express line and the Bangkok City line. The starting fare is 45 baht (approximately 30,000 VND). An Express train departs every hour, and a City line departs every 15 minutes. You can go to the airport's basement to inquire about more information regarding this Skytrain.
Bus
If you want to save on transportation costs when visiting Thailand, you can use the bus. You can easily find bus route maps at most hotels, bookstores, and tourist agency offices on New Phetchaburi Road. Remember to keep your ticket after boarding in case someone checks it on the bus.

Taxi
Taxis are the fastest and most comfortable way to get around the city. You can easily hail a taxi from your hotel or on the street. All taxis have meters and air conditioning; typically, you'll pay a minimum of 35 baht for the first 2 km and 5 baht for each subsequent kilometer.
Taxi on the river
Even more unique, yet equally convenient, are the taxis that run on the Chao Phraya River, in addition to boat taxis along the Saen Saep Canal. Tourists can easily travel between the two banks of the river, with stops at numerous piers along both sides, and the route can extend as far as the northern suburbs of Nonthaburi.
Tuk tuk
Three-wheeled vehicles are very popular for short journeys. These vehicles can carry 2-4 people and are ready to take you to tourist attractions. However, you need to negotiate the price with the driver. This is one of the interesting ways for tourists to experience transportation in Thailand.
Motorcycle taxi
Bangkok is a crowded city and notorious for its severe traffic congestion, especially during rush hour. Therefore, motorbike taxis are a fast and popular mode of transportation here. You can find many motorbike taxis waiting for passengers at tourist attractions and crowded areas. Remember to negotiate the price clearly before you start. The fare depends on the distance, but it's usually almost as expensive as a taxi.
Rent a bicycle
You can rent bicycles to ride in parks, large temple complexes, markets, and other smaller areas.
