Train
Hua Lamphong Station (Bangkok's main railway station) is located in the heart of the city in the Pathum Wan district, and is operated by the state-owned railways of Thailand. There are 14 main sections and 26 ticket gates at the station. Hua Lamphong serves more than 130 trains and approximately 60,000 passengers per day.
This station operates trains to the Northeast, North, East, and South lines to all provinces except Phuket. Trains are classified into four categories: special express, express, rapid, and ordinary. Fares vary according to the type of carriage and destination.

Subway
Bangkok MRT has been in operation since 2004. The city’s new metro system connects many of the city’s top tourist attractions with accommodation, markets and shopping areas. Trains run daily from 6am to midnight, making it convenient for travelers.
BTS Skytrain
Bangkok’s central transport system provides safe, cheap and fast travel to popular areas. The service is excellent and the stations and trains are clean. There are two lines in operation, which intersect at Siam Square. This is the best way to avoid Bangkok’s traffic jams and air pollution.
You will need coins to buy tickets from the vending machine near the entrance. The fee is between 15 and 40 baht (about 10,000 and 26,000 VND) depending on how many zones you visit. If you don't have coins, queue up to exchange money at the nearby counters.
Airport Rail Link
This is a skytrain line connecting Suvarnabhumi Airport and the center of Bangkok. There are two types of services on this line: the Express line and the City line. The departure fare is 45 baht (about 30,000 VND). There is an Express train every hour and a regular train every 15 minutes. You can go to the airport basement to ask for more information about this train.
Bus
If you want to save on travel costs when coming to Thailand, you can use the bus. You can easily find a map of the bus routes at most hotels, bookstores and tourism offices on New Phetchaburi Road. After getting on the bus, remember to keep your ticket in case someone checks on the spot.

Taxi
Taxis are the fastest and most comfortable way to get around the city. You can easily call a taxi from your hotel or on the street. All taxis are metered and air-conditioned, and the first 2 km usually cost a minimum of 35 baht and 5 baht for each additional km.
River taxi
More special but no less convenient are the taxis that run on the Chao Phraya River, in addition to the boat taxis along the Saen Saep Canal. Visitors will easily move from the trips across both sides of the river, the rest all stop at many piers on both banks and the route can extend as far as the northern outskirts of Nonthaburi.
Tuk tuk
Tricycles are very popular for short trips. They can carry 2-4 people and are ready to take you to the attractions. However, you need to negotiate with the driver about the price. This is one of the interesting ways for tourists to experience the traffic in Thailand.
Motorbike taxi
Bangkok is a crowded city and is famous for its severe traffic jams, especially during rush hours. Therefore, motorbike taxis are a fast and popular means of transport here. You can find many motorbike taxis waiting to pick up passengers at tourist attractions, sightseeing spots, and crowded places. Remember to negotiate the price clearly before leaving. The fare paid to the driver depends on the length of the trip but is almost as expensive as a taxi.
Bicycle rental
You can rent bicycles to ride in parks, large temple complexes, markets and other small areas.
