19 domestic routes will reopen from October 10th.

Among the 19 domestic routes reopened from October 10th, the Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City route is included. Simultaneously, as soon as the Ministry of Transport issued the flight plan, airlines developed transportation plans and began selling tickets until October 20th.

Specifically, the pilot phase plan includes 19 round-trip flights (38 flights per day):

Flights from Ho Chi Minh City to/from Binh Dinh, Da Nang, Hue, Khanh Hoa, Nghe An, Phu Yen, Quang Binh, Quang Nam, Thanh Hoa, Hai Phong, and Phu Yen have a frequency of one round-trip flight per day.

Flights between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City/Da Nang; Da Nang and Can Tho/Dak Lak; Thanh Hoa and Lam Dong; Ho Chi Minh City and Gia Lai; and Rach Gia Lai (Kien Giang) are also permitted to operate one round-trip flight per day on each route. The Hanoi - Can Tho route will operate flexibly depending on the pandemic situation.

Passenger boarding requirements

According to the Ministry of Transport's guidelines, passengers must have received all doses of the Covid-19 vaccine (Green Card on the Electronic Health Book/PC-COVID or a certificate of full vaccination issued by a competent authority, with the last dose administered at least 14 days prior to departure) or have recovered from Covid-19 within the past 6 months prior to returning to their locality (with a discharge certificate/certificate of recovery from Covid-19); and have a negative Covid-19 test result using the RT-PCR method or a rapid antigen test within 72 hours before boarding the plane.

Passengers must fill out a health declaration form and fulfill the commitment to prevent the spread of disease; they will not be allowed to board the plane if they have symptoms such as cough, fever, shortness of breath, muscle aches, sore throat, etc.

After the flight, when traveling to their place of residence, passengers should avoid crowded places; self-monitor their health or self-isolate at their residence for at least 7 days (according to the specific regulations of each locality). Those from epidemic areas must be tested on the second day after arriving at their place of residence. The Ministry of Transport also requires localities to manage and monitor people returning to their localities to prevent the spread of the disease to the community...

Airlines are scheduling flights to resume.

As soon as the Ministry of Transport issued the flight plan, airlines made arrangements for transportation and began selling tickets until October 20th.

Vietnam Airlines14 two-way routes will be resumed, including Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang; between Ho Chi Minh City and Hai Phong, Thanh Hoa, Quy Nhon, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Dong Hoi, Cam Ranh, Tuy Hoa, Phu Quoc; and between Thanh Hoa and Da Lat.

Accordingly, the Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City route has one round-trip flight per day, departing at 1 PM and returning at 4 PM. This is the only airline operating flights between these two major cities.

The remaining routes will have 5 flights each, operating from October 10-20. In total, 152 Vietnam Airlines flights will take off during this period.

Bamboo AirwaysTickets will be sold on 12 domestic routes over 11 days. Specifically, flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Binh Dinh, Da Nang, Hue, Khanh Hoa, Nghe An, Phu Yen, Quang Binh, Quang Nam, Thanh Hoa, Hai Phong, Phu Quoc and vice versa. The Hanoi to Da Nang round-trip route will also be operated.

From October 10-20,Vietjet AirFifteen routes have been reopened to welcome passengers. Specifically, the routes reopening include Ho Chi Minh City to Hai Phong, Da Nang, Quy Nhon, Vinh, Thanh Hoa, Chu Lai, Hue, Dong Hoi, Tuy Hoa, Phu Quoc, Nha Trang; Hanoi - Da Nang; Da Nang - Can Tho; Thanh Hoa - Can Tho and Thanh Hoa - Nha Trang.

Vietjet's first two flights in this return will depart from Ho Chi Minh City to Hai Phong at 7:45 AM and from Ho Chi Minh City to Da Nang at 1:00 PM on October 10th.

During the 11-day pilot period, the Ministry of Transport will assess and summarize the situation, and propose to the Government additions and adjustments to the exploitation plan to suit the actual situation in the next phase.
