09/10/2021

Pilot flights from October 10 to October 20, after which appropriate and timely solutions will be proposed.

The flight operation plan is piloted from October 10 to October 20, with 23 round trips/day (46 flights/day). Including 10 round trips from Ho Chi Minh City to other localities, 6 round trips from Hanoi, 4 flights from Da Nang and 3 flights from Thanh Hoa.

During the pilot period, passengers with travel needs to serve the economic recovery process will be received, such as:civil servants, professionals, managers, business people and citizens. The conditions for participation are to have received a full dose of Covid-19 vaccine (with full certification, the last dose was given at least 14 days ago) or to have recovered from Covid-19 within 6 months of returning to the locality (with hospital discharge certificate/certificate of recovery from Covid-19).

During the journey from the airport to their place of residence or stay, passengers must always follow 5K, use the PC-COVID application, limit stops and avoid contact with crowded places; proactively notify the local authorities of their place of residence or stay; self-monitor their health at their place of residence or stay for at least 7 days from the date of return to their locality. On the second day after returning from the epidemic area, passengers will have to take a SARS-CoV-2 test at the locality where they reside or stay.

Restoring flight routes connecting provinces in the current conditions is very necessary to gradually restore and develop the socio-economic situation of localities, gradually bringing people's lives back to normal. However, this also poses a potential risk of infection and new outbreaks, continuing to affect the socio-economic development of localities and people's health.

Therefore, the requirement for all levels, sectors and localities is to gradually restore flight routes and flights, ensuring caution, safety and strictly controlling the spread of the epidemic through controlling passengers at departure/arrival airports, on planes and during travel to localities.
