The flight operation plan will be piloted from October 10th to October 20th, with 23 round-trip flights per day (46 flights per day). This includes 10 round-trip flights from Ho Chi Minh City to other localities, 6 round-trip flights from Hanoi, 4 flights from Da Nang, and 3 flights from Thanh Hoa.
During the pilot phase, passengers with travel needs to support the economic recovery process will be accepted, such as:law enforcement, experts, managers, businesspeople, and citizens.Eligibility requirements include having received all doses of the Covid-19 vaccine (with full certification, the last dose administered at least 14 days prior to returning to your local area) or having recovered from Covid-19 within the past 6 months prior to returning to your local area (with a discharge certificate/certificate of recovery from Covid-19).
During the journey from the airport to their residence, passengers must always adhere to the 5K guidelines, use the PC-COVID application, limit stopping and avoid contact in crowded places; proactively inform local authorities in their place of residence; and self-monitor their health at their residence for at least 7 days from the date of return. On the second day after returning from an epidemic area, passengers will be required to undergo SARS-CoV-2 testing in their place of residence.
Passengers must also have a negative SARS-CoV-2 test result using the RT-PCR method or a rapid antigen test within 72 hours before boarding the plane. (Image: Internet)
Restoring inter-provincial air routes under current conditions is essential for gradually recovering and developing the socio-economic conditions of localities, and bringing people's lives back to normal. However, this also carries the potential for new infections and outbreaks, further impacting the socio-economic development of localities and the health of the people.
Therefore, the requirement for all levels, sectors, and localities is to gradually restore air routes and flights, ensuring caution, safety, and strict control of the spread of the disease through passenger screening at departure/arrival airports, on the aircraft, and during travel to localities.
