Vietjet resumes international flight route Da Nang - Bangkok.

On March 27th, Vietjet resumed its first international flight to Da Nang from Bangkok, Thailand. Initially, the route will operate three round-trip flights on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

The flight on March 27th from Bangkok brought hundreds of tourists and survey teams from Thai travel companies to Da Nang and Central Vietnam to activate tourism market exchanges, as soon as entry and travel conditions in the locality reopened.

Passengers can book tickets for as little as 280,000 VND (12 USD) (excluding taxes and fees) through Vietjet's official channels, including the website.www.vietjetair.com, Vietjet Air mobile app,Facebook Vietjet(See the "Book Tickets" section), and through the airline's official ticket offices and agents worldwide.

Currently, Vietjet Thailand operates three round-trip flights per week between Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi Airport) and Da Nang, on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, with a flight time of approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes per leg. The flight departs from Bangkok at 10:50 AM and arrives in Da Nang at 12:30 PM. From Da Nang, the flight takes off at 1:15 PM and lands back in Bangkok at 2:55 PM. In the near future, the flight frequency will be increased based on market demand.

From April 1, 2022, tourists traveling to Thailand under the Test & Go program only need to take an RT-PCR test and confirm their booking on the first day, and purchase Covid-19 insurance with coverage of USD 20,000. In addition, Vietjet currently operates 5 flights per week between Ho Chi Minh City and Bangkok and will increase the frequency to 7 flights per week from April 12th, along with the Hanoi - Bangkok route.

Vietjet currently offers the most flights between Vietnam and Thailand, with the Ho Chi Minh City - Bangkok route now operating up to 6 flights per week. In the next phase, Vietjet plans to reopen all previously operated international routes and open more long-haul routes to India, Australia, and other destinations.
