Along with that, the General Department of Tourism was also voted as one of the leading national tourism development agencies in Asia.

In the list of Asia's leading cruise ports, there are two nominations from Vietnam: Ha Long International Cruise Port in Quang Ninh and Phu My Port in Ba Ria - Vung Tau.

Ho Chi Minh City was nominated by WTA as one of the 8 leading business travel destinations in Asia, alongside Bangkok - Thailand, Beijing - China, Kyoto - Japan, Singapore... Along with that, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism was also ranked in the top 4 leading tourism development committees in Asia.
Two famous tourist destinations of Vietnam, Hoi An and Hue, were named in the list of 6 leading cultural tourist destinations in Asia.
Along with that, many tourist destinations that have made a name for Vietnam were also named by WTA in various categories. The list of leading emerging tourist destinations in Asia named a candidate from Vietnam, Ha Giang. Moc Chau was included in the list of leading natural destinations in Asia.
