On March 6th, information from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ca Mau province indicated that Phu Quoc High-Speed Ferry Joint Stock Company will restart operations of the Phu Quoc Express high-speed ferry on the Ca Mau - Nam Du - Phu Quoc (Kien Giang) island tourism route from March 18th.
Accordingly, for the first two weeks, the Phu Quoc Express high-speed ferry will operate one trip per week on Saturdays (March 18th and 25th), departing from Ca Mau at 9:00 AM (Ong Doc Passenger Port, Song Doc town, Tran Van Thoi district).
From March 28th, the frequency of service will be increased to 3 trips per week (Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays). From April 8th, the ship will operate daily.

Previously, on July 7, 2020, Phu Quoc High-Speed Ferry Joint Stock Company launched the Ca Mau – Nam Du – Phu Quoc high-speed ferry route. This was the first island and sea tourism route in Ca Mau province. However, due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, Phu Quoc Express high-speed ferry had to temporarily suspend operations for a long period.
