From May 12th to June 12th, 2021, the Vincom Contemporary Art Center (VCCA), in collaboration with the French Institute of Hanoi - L'Espace, organized two special photography exhibitions entitled “Forms | Format” and “Crossing Paths: Perspectives from Europe”.
The exhibitions bring together the most impressive photographic works, connecting the emotional experiences of the authors with the photography-loving community and the general public.
The exhibition "Form | Format"
The eight artists participating in the exhibition—Nguyen Phuong, Joseph Gobin, Duy Phuong, Yen Duong, Tran Le Quynh Anh, Prune Phi, Duy Tuan, and Alexandre Dupeyron—have chosen to react to human disconnection in their own unique ways.

They transform the photographic process into a methodology for seeking connection. Some artists experiment with manual photographic processes to emphasize their relationship with nature and their surroundings.
Other artists use expanded photographic frameworks to explore the connections between family and nation, and through keen observation and self-reflection, subtly highlight social paradoxes.
The exhibition "Crossing Roads: A European Perspective"
The exhibition showcases the works of eight photographers from eight European countries, nominated by their respective cultural departments in Vietnam. The group exhibition aims to offer diverse perspectives and viewpoints on life, hoping to bridge cultural gaps and address common interests.

Through projects undertaken in Vietnam and other locations, audiences are led to unexpected turns, encountering diverse lives or seemingly far-fetched ideas. The works thus create space for viewers to reflect and debate.
The exhibition is open to the public free of charge until June 12, 2021, at the Vincom Contemporary Art Center (VCCA), B1-R3 Vincom Royal City, 72 Nguyen Trai Street, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi.
Throughout the exhibition, VCCA consistently implemented strict COVID-19 prevention and control measures, including: temperature checks at the entrance to Vincom Royal City Shopping Center, social distancing, and requiring visitors to wear masks throughout the exhibition.
