There will be many main activities and events held in the series of celebration activities such as: Conference to evaluate and commend the work of preserving and promoting the cultural values of Hoi An and My Son over 20 years of being recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage and 10 years of Cu Lao Cham - Hoi An being recognized as a World Biosphere Reserve; International Scientific Conference "The role of the community in preserving and promoting the values of World Cultural Heritage through the practice of Hoi An Ancient Town and My Son Temple Complex".
My Son Temple Complex
The 20th anniversary of Hoi An Ancient Town and My Son Sanctuary being recognized by UNESCO as World Cultural Heritage and the 10th anniversary of Cu Lao Cham - Hoi An being recognized as a World Biosphere Reserve will be held at 8:00 p.m. on September 8 at My Son Sanctuary, Duy Xuyen district.
It is expected that about 4,500 domestic and international delegates and local people will attend. The highlight of the celebration will be a special art program performed by domestic artists and singers on the theme of heritage.
In addition, many cultural and sports activities were also held on this occasion such as VTV Cup International Cycling Race - Heritage Journey; Fine Arts Exhibition on the theme of Cultural Heritage, displaying 100 paintings and sculptures by authors across the country. The event took place from September 7 to 15 at My Son Temple Complex.

In addition to the above activities and events, the Organizing Committee of the Anniversary has also assigned localities, associations and businesses to prepare conditions to organize a number of practical and meaningful activities to continue to promote the image of Quang Nam province to domestic and international friends, promote tourism development, attract investment; at the same time, call for raising awareness and consensus of the community to join hands and contribute to preserving and promoting heritage values.
