Three years ago, when introducing a new premium uniform for flight crew during its 85th anniversary celebration, Turkish Airlines was rated by prestigious magazines as the airline with the most fashionable uniform in the history of the aviation industry.
This is a uniform design by high-end fashion designer Ettore Bilotta, inspired by many classic elements of Turkish architecture and culture. Ettore once shared that his first inspiration when designing for Turkish Airlines was the city of Istanbul, the history of which, with its traditional calligraphy and mother-of-pearl inlays, has been transformed into contrasting motifs in the outfit. Red and gray symbolize the integration, dynamic development, and the most bustling of Turkey.
The pattern on the silk scarf represents the Turkish flag.

Hainan Airlines (China)
Hainan Airlines of China is one of the airlines with the most impressive flight attendant uniforms. The designer of this uniform for the crew is Laurence Xu, one of the most famous Haute Couture designers in China.
The uniform for female flight attendants is inspired by the cheongsam, a famous traditional Chinese costume, combined with a stylized blazer. In addition to this uniform, female flight attendants also have a cape-style coat in the cold season. The uniform for male flight attendants includes a suit and a formal gray overcoat.
Laurence Xu shared that the outfit is a blend of Chinese culture and Western influences. This uniform design was also introduced at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week Fall 2017.

Alitalia (Italy)
The Alitalia flight attendant uniform is a collection created by designer Alberta Ferretti exclusively for the airline, with the idea of bringing Italian creativity, elegance and friendliness to the world. The outfit includes a stand-up collar jacket for women and a vest for men, a silk scarf, a classic tie, gloves, a cap, colored socks and a handbag, all made of cotton and completely waterproof. The colors and accessories of this design are very Italian, combining and blending classic style with modern dynamism and fashion.
It can be said that Alitalia's flight attendants, when wearing this uniform, can hardly be confused with any other airline.
The uniform design was inspired by the national flag and designs typical of Italian culture.
SKYUP AIRLINES (Ukraine)
Recently, Ukraine's SkyUp Airlines has becomepioneering airline innovationaviation "fashion" when launching a dynamic, stylish uniform with baggy pants and sneakers. This outfit called SkyUp Champions consists of a blazer, trousers and white sneakers. The soft orange color symbolizes the sunset and the blue color of the silk scarf is likened to the color of the sky when the sun rises.
According to Marianna Grigorash, Head of Marketing of the airline, this uniform reflects the idea of dynamic flight attendants but is no longer as restrictive as before. It is designed for proactive, individualistic, fresh, stylish, quick-reacting people who always accept challenges and can find solutions in any situation.
