This uniform, designed by haute couture fashion designer Ettore Bilotta, draws inspiration from classic elements of Turkish architecture and culture. Ettore shared that his initial inspiration for Turkish Airlines was Istanbul, its history, and the traditional calligraphy and mother-of-pearl inlays that have been transformed into contrasting motifs in the uniform. The red and gray colors symbolize the integration, dynamic development, and vibrant energy of Turkey.
The pattern on the silk scarf worn around the neck symbolizes the Turkish flag.

Hainan Airlines of China is one of the airlines with the most memorable flight attendant uniforms. The designer of these uniforms for the flight crew is Laurence Xu, one of the most famous haute couture designers in China.
The uniforms for female flight attendants are inspired by the cheongsam, a famous traditional Chinese dress, combined with a stylish blazer. In addition to this uniform, female flight attendants also have a cape-style coat for the colder months. The uniform for male flight attendants includes a suit and a smart grey trench coat.
