Starting this fall, SkyUp Airlines passengers will be greeted by female flight attendants in a new uniform called SkyUp Champions. Instead of tight skirts and high heels, the new uniform consists of a blazer, trousers, and, most notably, white Nike Air Max 720 sneakers.
Additionally, the silk scarf tied around the neck—a symbolic detail often seen in flight attendant uniforms—has been moved to the shoulder epaulets. The new uniform retains the same colors as the old one—a soft orange, like the color of a sunset, on the clothing, and a blue on the scarf, likened to the color of the sky at sunrise.

In addition to changes in uniforms, female flight attendants are also allowed more freedom in their hairstyles and are not required to wear overly complicated styles. They are also encouraged to wear less heavy makeup than before.
Marianna Grigorash, Head of Marketing at SkyUp Airlines, said, “Times have changed, and women have changed too. So, going against the classic style of high heels, red lipstick, and high buns, a new, more modern and comfortable look for a ‘champion’ has emerged.”

Marianna also shared that the change will have a positive impact on the mood of flight attendants, who are constantly on the move and standing all day long. The new uniform embodies that idea of movement but without the constraints of the past. It's designed for proactive, individualistic, cheerful, stylish, quick-witted individuals who embrace challenges and can find solutions in any situation.
