Starting this fall, SkyUp Airlines passengers will be greeted by flight attendants in a new uniform called SkyUp Champions. Instead of tight skirts and high heels, the new uniform includes a blazer, a pair of trousers, and the most eye-catching feature: white Nike Air Max 720 sneakers.
In addition, the silk scarf - a symbolic detail often seen in flight attendant uniforms - has been moved to the shoulder straps. This new uniform still has the same colors as the old uniform - soft orange like the color of sunset on the clothes, and blue on the scarf - like the color of the sky when the Sun rises.

Not only have their uniforms changed, but the flight attendants are also allowed to have more free-flowing hairstyles and do not need to have overly complicated hairstyles. They are also encouraged to not wear as much makeup as before.
“Times have changed, and women have changed too,” says Marianna Grigorash, Head of Marketing at SkyUp Airlines. “So, by going against the grain of high heels, red lipstick and a high bun, a new, more modern and relaxed look for a “champion” has emerged.”

Marianna also shared that the change will have a positive impact on the mood of flight attendants, who often have to move and stand all day long. This uniform reflects the idea of movement but is no longer as restrictive as before. It is designed for people who are proactive, individual, fresh, stylish, quick to react, always accept challenges and can find solutions in any situation.
