Contributing to the overall success of the ceremony, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Hanoi City implemented a meaningful program: establishing 40 points for distributing free food and essential supplies, serving both spectators and the forces participating in the parade and march. This is a practical action, demonstrating the thoughtful care and sharing of the younger generation towards the community, contributing to spreading positive values on this national holiday.
Hanoi has set up 40 locations to distribute free food and essential supplies to people watching the parade and march over three days: August 27th, 30th, and September 2nd.
With the goal of providing maximum support to the public and participating forces, 40 distribution points were set up along many central streets, especially in areas expected to attract large crowds. Each point was staffed by 20 to 30 young, energetic volunteers, ready to work tirelessly regardless of the difficulties.
The free distribution program will take place during the preparatory and official activities of the Anniversary Celebration, specifically on three days: August 27-30 and September 2, 2025. This timeframe has been carefully calculated to ensure that the needs of the public are met during peak days, when rehearsals and the official parade take place.
To ensure that all citizens and participating forces have access to the service, 40 distribution points have been set up along central streets, where the highest traffic is expected. These points are divided into several key areas, including parade and march routes and assembly points.
The area surrounding Ba Dinh Square and major parade routes such as Le Truc, Hung Vuong, Nguyen Thai Hoc, Le Duan, Kim Ma, Lieu Giai, Trang Thi, and Trang Tien are top priority locations with a high density of distribution points. Here, volunteers will be stationed at locations such as the sidewalks of Le Truc flower garden, in front of the Ba Dinh Ward People's Committee, in front of the DOJI Group, or near the Vietnam Traditional Opera Theatre to provide timely assistance.

The area surrounding Hanoi Railway Station is also being prioritized with two distribution points, ready to serve the large number of people traveling by train to the capital. These points are located at both station entrances, ensuring maximum convenience for travelers.
In addition, distribution points were set up in areas with high pedestrian traffic, such as Hang Bong - Trang Thi Flower Garden, August Revolution Square, Bac Co Flower Garden, and nearby streets like Dinh Tien Hoang, Hang Khay, and Trang Tien. This demonstrates the comprehensive attention of the Organizing Committee, aiming to serve not only those directly attending the parade but also citizens participating in other cultural and artistic activities during the event.
In addition, police forces and volunteer youth should be deployed to ensure security and order in crowded areas, assembly points, grandstands, routes, and locations where LED screens are installed for the public to watch the commemoration ceremony, parade, and march. Priority should be given to allocating convenient locations for veterans, the elderly, women, and children, in accordance with practical conditions.
At the same time, measures will be implemented to ensure the adequate supply of essential necessities (such as drinking water, dried food, and instant biscuits), provide shelter from rain and sun, and organize free bus services for people and tourists from other localities coming to Hanoi to attend and observe the activities. This will contribute to demonstrating the friendly and hospitable spirit of the Capital – a City for Peace.
