On a national scale, this event is expected to attract more than 13,000 participants, including the majestic marching contingents of the Vietnam People's Armed Forces, along with a vibrant parade of representatives from all walks of life, promising to recreate a heroic atmosphere and evoke deep pride in the country's history and traditions.
The April 30th parade in Ho Chi Minh City will take place at 6:30 AM on April 30, 2025, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country.
Starting at 6:30 AM on April 30th, the parade will depart from the bustling intersection of Le Duan and Nguyen Binh Khiem streets, slowly advancing towards the Independence Palace – a significant historical landmark of the nation. From there, the parade will split into four directions, moving through the main thoroughfares and central areas of District 1.
The main activities will be held in the central streets of Ho Chi Minh City, especially in the area around the Reunification Hall, with the participation of more than 13,000 people.
To secure a prime spot with a good view and avoid any inconvenience in transportation, arriving early is a wise preparation, ensuring you don't miss any memorable moments of this important event.

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country, Ho Chi Minh City will hold spectacular fireworks displays at 30 locations throughout the city. In particular, two high-altitude fireworks displays will take place in the Saigon River Tunnel area (Thu Duc City) and Ben Duoc Temple (Cu Chi District), promising breathtaking and emotional performances.

Leaving behind the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City, travel about 80km and you will arrive at a historical site steeped in revolutionary history: the Central Committee Headquarters of the Southern Region, located in the heroic land of Tay Ninh. This place was once the heart and brain directing the long and glorious resistance of the Southern army and people throughout the fierce years of war.
During our nation's resistance war against American imperialism (1954-1975), the Central Committee Base of the Southern Region was the nerve center of the revolution in South Vietnam.
Stepping foot into the Central Committee Base of the Southern Region, you will have the opportunity to travel back in time and explore a valuable complex of historical relics, including houses that once served as residences and workplaces for outstanding revolutionary leaders such as Nguyen Van Linh, Nguyen Chi Thanh, and Vo Van Kiet… Each house and each object here carries within it moving stories of a difficult but courageous period.
The tour also takes you to the unique Hoang Cam kitchen, where heartwarming meals were prepared under difficult conditions; the communal dining hall, where officers and soldiers shared everyday moments; and the assembly hall, where important decisions were made, guiding the resistance war. All these relics are connected by a system of trenches over 1,200m long and 430m of walking trails hidden under the lush green forest canopy, creating a space that is both sacred and close to nature, helping you to deeply feel the life and fighting spirit of the nation's outstanding sons and daughters.
Discover Ba Den Mountain in Tay Ninh – a majestic and sacred mountainous region in Southern Vietnam.
A trip to Tay Ninh wouldn't be complete without visiting the majestic Ba Den Mountain, a towering 986-meter-high peak standing tall in the plain. It's not only a sacred site with famous spiritual structures attracting numerous tourists and Buddhist followers, but also bears the deep imprints of a fierce wartime period. During the war against the US, this treacherous peak was occupied by the American army and transformed into a state-of-the-art communications base, considered by them as a "divine eye" capable of monitoring all movements, an seemingly impregnable airborne fortress.

During this time, when visiting Ba Den Mountain, you can also participate in many meaningful experiences during Vesak month, such as the Buddha bathing ceremony at Tay Bo Da Son Square to celebrate the Buddha's birth; and viewing an exhibition of Buddhist-themed paintings by artist Hoang Phong featuring 45 paintings of famous spiritual destinations across the country. If you visit Ba Den Mountain on a Saturday, don't forget to stay overnight to attend the lantern offering ceremony to honor the heroic martyrs and offer prayers for peace, good fortune, and happiness to the Buddhas.
