Budapest, Hungary
Flowing through Budapest is the beautiful Danube River, especially vibrant at night thanks to its beautifully illuminated bridges, lively bars, and cozy restaurants. On the west bank of the river lies the Old Town, home to the Grand Palace and the colorful Matthias Church. Both are historically significant and well worth a visit.
Budapest is often referred to as the "Paris of the East".

Sintra, Portugal
Sintra is a resort town near the capital Lisbon, home to unique castles, including the Pena National Palace. Pena Palace is one of Portugal's most attractive landmarks and a colorful example of Romantic architecture.
If lazy afternoons by the beach are a couple's thing, then Sintra has some of the best beaches in Europe. Couples can head down to the coastal town of Praia das Azenhas do Mar for an afternoon swim, stroll along the beach to watch the sunset, and enjoy some of the best seafood in Portugal.
