The play "My Village" - Hanoi
"My Village" is a bamboo circus performance that harmoniously combines traditional techniques with unique innovations. Body language is skillfully expressed through dances and daring acrobatic performances set to folk music played on over 20 traditional instruments. "My Village" is not just a performance, but a vibrant work of art, presenting a visual picture of the beautiful life of people in the Northern Vietnamese countryside.
This innovative program uniquely uses bamboo – a symbol of rural Vietnam – as its main material. Lasting over an hour, the show offers audiences a meaningful "emotional adventure." "My Village" is usually performed at the Hanoi Opera House or the Vietnam National Opera House.
