The unit also inspected travel agencies and organized legal awareness campaigns for island residents to better understand how to conduct tourism services in accordance with regulations.

Lai Son commune, also known as Hon Son, is an island that still retains its pristine mountain and forest beauty, attracting many tourists who come to experience, visit, and enjoy activities such as diving to catch sea urchins, snails, and fish, and can also check in at Ma Thien Lanh mountain (a mountain over 400 meters above sea level).

Currently, Hon Son Island has approximately 1,500 accommodation rooms and many tourism businesses serving visitors. Each year, the island is estimated to welcome around 200,000 tourists.
