Love story on the journey of discovery
A female tourism professional, after suddenly breaking up with her lover, agreed to join a business trip to explore and learn about the tourism industry in Vietnam. That trip made her find both adventure and romance that she thought was lost, and gradually fell in love with a Vietnamese tour guide. They decided to steal a tourist bus, to explore life and love in new ways.
This story of love and travels will beA Tourist's Guide to Love(tentative translation: A Travel Guide for Love) is retold on Netflix's screen, based on a script written by Vietnamese-American Eirene Donohue.
The film is inspired by Eirene's own travels back to explore her roots, directed by filmmaker Steven Tsuchida (known for such iconic films asResort to Love, Dear White People, On My Block).

Opportunity to promote Vietnamese culture and tourism abroad
Recently, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has decided to allow the movie ATourist's Guide to LoveNetflix's film was shot in Vietnam. This will be the first international film to be shot in Vietnam since the global Covid-19 pandemic broke out.
Netflix has not announced the release date of the project. However, Netflix representatives also said that filming will begin in April 2022, at 5 famous locations that have contributed to bringing the beauty of Vietnam to the world, including: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Hoi An and Ha Giang.
Through the eyes of the film's characters, global audiences will be able to admire the vibrant life of Ho Chi Minh City, the natural landscape of Da Nang, the nostalgic atmosphere of Hoi An, the majestic mountains of Ha Giang and the elegance of Hanoi - where the past and present intersect.
