With the aim of developing the creative and dubbing industry in Vietnam as well as increasing awareness of the dubbing field in the film market, the "Wonderful Sound" contest will be held on the occasion of the 22nd Vietnam Film Festival taking place from November 18 to November 20 in Hue city.

According to the Organizing Committee of the contest, dubbing is not simply localizing the character's voice, along with that, voice actors also need to get into character and express the expressions and emotions of the character they are portraying.
"With the first Asia-Pacific voice-over talent search taking place in Vietnam, we look forward to hearing fromVietnamese soundand contribute to the development of the creative community in Vietnam," said Netflix representative - Mr. Dennis Chau, Netflix's Director of Voiceover in the Asia-Pacific region.
Ms. Nguyen Phuong Hoa, Director of the Department of International Cooperation - Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, also welcomed the fact that "Netflix chose Vietnam for the first time to organize a dubbing competition in the Asia - Pacific region". She considered this a meaningful and timely start, opening up a trend of cooperation between Vietnamese companies and digital platforms on a global scale.
