Netflix is ​​bringing its voice-over competition to Vietnam for the first time.

With the aim of developing the creative and voice-over industry in Vietnam, as well as increasing awareness of the voice-over field in the film market, the "Magical Voice" competition will be held to celebrate the 22nd Vietnam Film Festival, taking place from November 18th to 20th in Hue City.

According to the competition organizers, voice acting is not simply about localizing a character's voice; voice actors also need to embody the character and convey the expressions and emotions of the person they are portraying.

Ms. Nguyen Phuong Hoa, Director of the International Cooperation Department - Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, also welcomed Netflix's choice of Vietnam for the first time to organize a voice-over competition in the Asia-Pacific region. She saw this as a meaningful and timely beginning, opening up a trend of cooperation between Vietnamese companies and digital platforms globally.

Anyone over 16 years old can try their hand at voice acting, and the prize will be the opportunity to become a voice actor for future international film projects by Netflix and BHD.
