Amazing Tour 5, themed "Bali - From Volcanoes to the Deep Sea," initiated by Travellive magazine, took place over 6 days (October 31st - November 5th) and featured 9 members (singer Quang Vinh, model Cao Thien Trang, couple Jay Quan and Chung Huyen Thanh, travel blogger Ngo Tran Hai An, photographer Bao Khanh, and journalist Le Thu Quynh). They are singers, models, photographers, and journalists... all sharing a passion for travel.
The members of the group arrived early in the morning to prepare for the start of their journey.
After departing from Tan Son Nhat Airport, the group arrived in Denpasar, the capital city of Bali province. The first activity in the 6-day Amazing Tour 5 experience was exploring and enjoying the traditional Kecak dance at Uluwatu Temple.
Photographer Bao Khanh quickly shared the first images upon arriving at this famous tourist paradise in Southeast Asia.
The blue sea and golden sunshine also appear in the first images of singer Quang Vinh.
He couldn't hide his excitement at the prospect of experiencing the traditional Kecak dance.
"Perched on a sheer cliff overlooking the sea, the Kecak performance takes place at sunset. What makes Kecak special is that it uses absolutely no artificial scenery or musical instruments. The centerpiece is 60 men wearing only sarongs, all in unison, harmonizing to music."Cak Cak Cak"That very sound provides an endless source of energy, elevating the performance to a climax," photographer Bao Khanh shared his experience of witnessing firsthand the Balinese people's fire dance to welcome the sunset.

The Kecak dance is essentially a folk dance drama based on the Hindu legend of Ramayana. Kecak is a dance performed without music or lighting, relying solely on the harmonious voices of a local choir. It became popular in Bali in the 1930s and has been gradually refined and improved over the years. It is one of the most popular shows for tourists on the island.
The sound was produced by an "orchestra" of about 60 men. They sat cross-legged in a circle around the stage, divided into two sides, sometimes with their backs to the audience, other times sitting behind the actors. Without any elaborate costumes, all the members were shirtless and wrapped in black and white striped sarongs, the traditional attire of the people of Bali.

The entire performance takes place under the light of fire. The stage is extremely simple, a square courtyard. The performance lasts for about two hours, from the time the sun begins to set until night falls. The ending is what the audience awaits most: the actors playing demons and gods perform a dance on the bonfire in the middle of the stage. They walk barefoot on the fire, rolling around in their costumes, yet they don't catch fire at all.

Besides exploring and enjoying the traditional Kecak dance of the Balinese people, the group members also had time to admire the scenery and take photos by the sea.
