On their way to Ngurah Rai International Airport, the Vietnamese national team visited the ancient Puseh Batuan temple on the morning of October 16th. According to the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), although the visit was brief, it provided a refreshing and relaxing experience for Coach Park Hang-seo and his team.
The Vietnamese national team wore headscarves while visiting temples in Bali (Indonesia).
The Puseh Batuan Temple was established in 1020, featuring distinctive Hindu architecture and the Candi Bentar gate – where the team took a commemorative photo. The name Batuan is related to a local village joke, meaning "hard as stone" or "eating stones," becausebatuIn the local dialect, it means stone. In fact, the temple has many standing stone statues and is a place for performing solemn worship rituals.
Visitors to the temple should pay attention to their attire, choosing clothing that covers the shoulders and upper arms. The waist and legs should be wrapped in a selendang scarf and a kain kamben sarong, similar to the attire of Coach Park Hang-seo and his team.
Coach Park Hang-seo and his team posed for photos wearing sarongs at the ancient temple of Pusheh Batuan.
The Vietnamese national team's flight is expected to land at Tan Son Nhat Airport this afternoon. Van Lam, Cong Phuong, and Van Hau will depart later, flying back to Thailand, Belgium, and the Netherlands respectively to join their clubs. On October 29th, the team will assemble to prepare for the two matches against UAE (November 14th) and Thailand (November 19th) in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.
