Previously, most tourists traveling to Bali (Indonesia) had to fly via a transit point in Malaysia. However, from October 27th, tourists can save time and money by booking direct flights to Denpasar Airport (Bali).
Vietnam Airlines will operate a route from Tan Son Nhat Airport to Denpasar Airport with a frequency of 7 flights per week. However, from October 2019 to March 2020, the airline will only operate 5 flights per week.
Flights for tourists to Bali will depart from Ho Chi Minh City at 11:10 AM on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
Bali is known as the jewel of Indonesia.
Besides the Tan Son Nhat - Denpasar route, Vietnam Airlines is launching a direct flight to Phuket, one of Thailand's most popular tourist destinations.
This is the airline's third route connecting Vietnam and Thailand. With this route, the airline will operate three flights per week at 3:50 PM on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. The frequency is expected to increase to seven flights per week in March 2020.
Phuket is the largest tourist island in southern Thailand.
In addition, Vietnam Airlines will resume flights connecting Da Nang with Bangkok to serve the increasing demand of tourists from October 27, 2019.
According to Mr. Le Hong Ha, Deputy General Director of Vietnam Airlines: “These new routes affirm Vietnam Airlines’ commitment to continuously expanding and developing its flight network, providing passengers with convenient connections and flexible choices.”
Vietnam Airlines' upcoming routes will all meet international 4-star service standards with Airbus A321 aircraft. Passengers will enjoy free checked and carry-on baggage (except for super-economy class tickets). In addition, passengers on these flights will be served light meals depending on the flight duration.

Bali (Indonesia) and Phuket (Thailand) are two famous islands known for their crystal-clear turquoise waters. They consistently offer visitors unforgettable experiences.
