The flight attendant documented the male passenger's inappropriate behavior and handed it over to the Southern Aviation Authority for handling immediately upon the plane's landing at Tan Son Nhat Airport (Ho Chi Minh City).
The Southern Aviation Authority determined that the male passenger had "made gestures of teasing and insulting the honor and dignity of passengers on the aircraft, but not to the extent of being prosecuted criminally." Based on Decree 162/2018/ND-CP on administrative penalties in the field of civil aviation, the Southern Aviation Authority issued a decision to fine the male passenger 8.5 million VND.
