The signing of this Memorandum of Cooperation is an important basis for the two sides to coordinate in promoting and introducing the image of the country, people and tourism of Vietnam to the world, contributing to the creation of many attractive and quality products and services that suit the tastes of customers; bringing convenient travel and tourism opportunities for Vietnamese people and international tourists, especially connecting Vietnam with the world through destinations where Vietjet has direct flights. This is also a specific effort to contribute to the implementation of the target plan assigned by the Prime Minister: welcoming about 18 million international visitors to Vietnam in 2019.

Representatives of the two sides successfully signed the Minutes of cooperation on tourism promotion between the General Department of Tourism and Vietjet Air.
Many activities will be jointly implemented by the two sides in the spirit of the Minutes, including: strengthening propaganda and promotion on mass media; introducing publications, documents, exchanging market research information; cooperating to participate in an international tourism fair abroad; organizing programs to introduce Vietnamese tourism abroad; organizing destination surveys and cooperating to organize domestic tourism events...
At the ceremony, a small Lucky Draw program was also held and the lucky person was awarded a pair of round-trip tickets (including all taxes and fees) to any destination that Vietjet Air flies to.
Vietjet currently has a wide flight network with 39 domestic routes and 69 international routes, including many prominent tourist routes such as Hanoi, Van Don, Da Nang, Nha Trang, Hue, Quang Binh, Phu Quoc, Can Tho, Ho Chi Minh City... and international routes to Japan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Cambodia... Vietjet aircraft also operate in the areas of Dubai and Doha airports. Vietjet aircraft bearing the logo "I love my Fatherland" cooperated with the Vietnam Youth Union in the program to launch the movement of beautiful actions among the youth nationwide. Vietjet also pioneered in painting the symbol of Vietnam Tourism on the body of the aircraft along with the melody "Hello Vietnam", the red flag with yellow star flying in the international sky was joyfully welcomed by friends and partners on 5 continents. Vietjet continuously opened more routes, increased domestic and international passenger transport. With a total of approximately 70 million passengers, Vietjet continued to promote tourism and investment; support social security programs; promote the image, culture and tourism of Vietnam at Vietjet's international destinations; contribute to turning Vietnam into a high-quality service and tourism center of the world and the region.

By signing this Memorandum, the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism and Vietjet will cooperate with the highest sense of responsibility to contribute to making Vietnam Tourism a spearhead economic sector, strengthening the close connection between tourism and aviation.
