The signing of this Memorandum of Cooperation is an important foundation for both parties to coordinate efforts in promoting and showcasing the image of Vietnam, its people, and tourism to the world. It will contribute to creating many attractive, high-quality products and services that suit customer preferences; providing convenient travel and tourism opportunities for Vietnamese people and international tourists, especially connecting Vietnam with the world through destinations where Vietjet has direct flights. This is also a concrete effort to contribute to the goal set by the Prime Minister: welcoming approximately 18 million international visitors to Vietnam in 2019.

The event was attended by high-ranking officials representing both sides, as well as numerous media outlets and invited guests.
Mr. Ha Van Sieu - Deputy Director General of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism
Ms. Nguyen Thanh Ha - Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Vietjet
Representatives from both sides successfully signed the Memorandum of Cooperation on tourism promotion and marketing between the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism and Vietjet Air.
Many activities will be jointly implemented by both sides in accordance with the spirit of the Memorandum, including: strengthening publicity and promotion through mass media; introducing publications and documents, exchanging market research information; cooperating in participating in an international tourism fair abroad; organizing programs to introduce Vietnamese tourism abroad; organizing destination surveys and cooperating in organizing domestic tourism events...
At the ceremony, a small Lucky Draw program was also held, and the lucky winner was awarded a pair of round-trip tickets (including all taxes and fees) to any destination that Vietjet has flights to.
Vietjet currently has an extensive flight network with 39 domestic and 69 international routes, including many popular tourist destinations such as Hanoi, Van Don, Da Nang, Nha Trang, Hue, Quang Binh, Phu Quoc, Can Tho, Ho Chi Minh City... along with international routes to Japan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Cambodia... Vietjet aircraft also operate in the Dubai and Doha airport areas. Vietjet consistently connects domestic airports, bringing international tourists to Vietnam; accompanying and contributing to the development of local and national tourism.

Vietjet aircraft bearing the "I Love My Homeland" emblem collaborated with the Vietnam Youth Union in launching a movement promoting positive actions among young people nationwide. Vietjet also pioneered painting the Vietnam Tourism symbol on its aircraft, accompanied by the melody of "Hello Vietnam," and the red flag with a yellow star soaring into international skies, receiving enthusiastic welcomes from friends and partners across five continents. Vietjet continuously expands its routes and increases passenger transport both domestically and internationally. With a total of approximately 70 million passengers transported, Vietjet continues to promote tourism and investment; support social welfare programs; promote the image, culture, and tourism of Vietnam at Vietjet's international destinations; and contribute to making Vietnam a high-quality international and regional tourism and service center.

Not only does Vietjet provide millions of people with the best-value air travel opportunities, but it also consistently supports meaningful social, tourism, cultural, sports, and entertainment activities such as Miss Vietnam, the Da Lat Flower Festival, and the "Clean the Sea" campaign. Vietjet operates safe flights with a technical reliability rate of 99.64% - the highest in the Asia-Pacific region. As an official member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA), Vietjet holds the "IOSA International Aviation Safety" certification and is rated among the safest airlines in the world by the international organization AirlineRatings.
By signing this Memorandum of Understanding, the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism and Vietjet will cooperate with the highest sense of responsibility to contribute to making Vietnamese tourism a key economic sector and strengthen the close ties between tourism and aviation.
