In order to help Vietnamese tourists better understand Taiwan, create a lasting impression of Taiwan in the hearts of Vietnamese people, and boost the number of Vietnamese tourists to the famous land of bubble tea, 2019 was the next year that the Taiwan Tourism Bureau decided to organize the Taiwan Tourism Promotion Program, which took place at the Hanoi Tower Convention Center on March 26, 2019.

The event was attended by high-ranking officials representing tourism agencies from both Vietnam and Taiwan, more than 20 travel businesses and other brands and services from Taiwan and Vietnam, as well as numerous media outlets and other guests.

At the event, tourism businesses and travel companies from both sides enhanced exchanges and sought business opportunities through short networking sessions introducing new destinations, tour itineraries, key tourism products, and special support for tourists.

Shortly afterwards, a small travel fair was also held in the hotel's second-floor lobby so that representatives from travel companies could meet, exchange information, and directly advise customers on their products.



With open visa policies, impressive destinations, competitive tour prices, and high quality, Taiwan-Vietnam Tourism expects a significant increase in tourist exchange through this event, reaching 2 million visitors in 2019.
In particular, at the Vietnam International Travel Mart 2019, held in Hanoi from March 27th to 30th, 2019, visitors to the Taiwan booth (booths A2 and A76) will also be able to enjoy interesting performances, delicious Taiwanese snacks, exquisite souvenirs, and high-quality Taiwanese tourism products at preferential prices from participating travel companies.

Starting March 15th this year, to further strengthen cooperation between Taiwan and Vietnam, the Taiwan Tourism Bureau has established a Tourism Promotion Office in Ho Chi Minh City to enhance tourism exchanges between the two sides, as well as to jointly connect and cooperate in developing new tourism policies that benefit both countries.
