On the morning of March 21, the organizing committee representative said that DIFF 2019 will have 5 competition nights with the following themes: Origin, Seed of Life, Love, Colors, and Sailing. The opening night is expected to take place on the evening of June 1, with the opening competition between the two teams Vietnam and Russia.
Next will be the competition nights of Brazil - Belgium (June 8), Finland - Italy (June 15), England - China (June 22). The two best teams out of the 8 participating teams in DIFF 2019 will compete in the final night (evening of July 6).
The DIFF 2019 Organizing Committee said that each team's performance will bring stories about rivers - evidence of history, culture, the flow connecting the life sources of each country and territory - told through fireworks and music, through the sublimation of art and emotion.
Vietnamese artists such as My Tam, Uyen Linh, Ha Anh Tuan... will perform during the festival nights. A new feature of DIFF 2019 is a flashmob dance competition with the theme "Youth Waves" nationwide.
"This year, the organizing committee plans to spend about 140 billion VND to cover activities at the 2019 Da Nang International Fireworks Festival," the organizing committee representative informed.
Mr. Le Trung Chinh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, said that after 2 years of organizing in the form of socialization, the fireworks festival has saved hundreds of billions of VND. DIFF 2019 is expected to continue the success of previous organizations, contributing significantly to helping Da Nang maintain its position as the leading attractive festival tourism destination in the country and the region.
