InterContinental Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort enhances service quality and hygiene standards through the global IHG Clean Promise campaign.

As one of the first resorts on Phu Quoc Island to implement new safety and hygiene standards in service and operations, InterContinental Phu Quoc is striving to meet the new demands and expectations of domestic tourists. By scientifically applying new service procedures according to the global IHG Clean Promise standard, InterContinental Phu Quoc aims to provide essential protection for guests, while helping them feel comfortable and confident throughout their stay.

With this principle in mind, in addition to standard service, we also provide them with safety, peace of mind, and a familiar, home-like feeling, always receiving dedicated and meticulous care," shared Oliver Horn, General Manager of InterContinental Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort.

The resort is enhancing its deep cleaning and regular disinfection procedures throughout the property, minimizing physical contact at the reception desk by using electronic invoices instead of paper ones, adding more hand sanitizing stations, and simultaneously implementing similar changes for food and beverage services such as buffets, banquet services, and in-room dining.

In the guest rooms, decorative items on the bed, as well as resort information and menus, have been removed. Instead, guests can find this information on the in-room TV screen. The minibar has also been removed; however, guests can still order drinks through room service.

Restaurants and bars will adopt electronic menus, ensuring both hygiene and environmental friendliness. Guests can simply scan a QR code to view and order food using their phones or personal electronic devices. Additionally, disposable menus will be provided and discarded immediately after use. For breakfast at Sora & Umi, chefs and staff will serve guests' choices from a buffet with a wide variety of dishes at their table, promising a delicious and energizing breakfast.

During their stay, guests will see numerous announcements from the resort assuring them that in-room items are thoroughly disinfected and that room service is flexible.

This reflects the desire to provide guests with peace of mind and comfort, knowing that hygiene and community safety are always a top priority at InterContinental Phu Quoc. Recreational amenities including the swimming pool, Planet Trekkers Kids Club, fitness center, beach, and water sports activities remain available to cater to guests' entertainment and relaxation needs.
