The Epson International Pano Awards (EPSON) is a large-scale panoramic photography competition founded by Australian photographer David Evans. The 2019 EPSON Awards marked the 19th edition of the competition, attracting 1,258 photographers from 72 countries and territories with nearly 5,000 entries across all categories. Professional and amateur photographers alike are welcome at this annual event. It is considered the largest competition for panoramic photography, with total prize money exceeding $50,000.
At this year's EPSON International Photo Contest 2019, four images from Vietnam made it into the top panoramic photos in various categories, including: Tam Coc Boat Harbor, Hon Yen Net Dance, Hoi An Night, and the Raspberry Terraced Rice Fields.

The photograph "Flower Boat Dock," taken in May at Tam Coc, Ninh Binh, by author Tran Minh Dung from Ho Chi Minh City, was awarded third prize in the Architecture and Built Environment category in the Open section (no restrictions on the level of participants).

The photograph "Hoi An at Night" by Tran Minh Dung was taken in June. This work was selected among the top 39 out of 50 beautiful photos in the Architecture and Built Environment category, Open section.
The photograph "Raspberry Terraced Rice Fields"
The photograph "Raspberry Terraced Rice Fields," taken in late September 2018 by Nguyen Ngoc Thien from Ho Chi Minh City, was ranked 5th in the Architecture and Built Environment category, Amateur section.
The photograph "Dance of the Nets" was taken in July at Hon Yen Island.

Mieke Boynton's Dragonfire
Winning the overall prize, and also taking first place in the Nature and Landscape category in the Open section, was "Dragonfire" by Australian photographer Mieke Boynton. The photograph captures the moment sulfur and iron minerals flowing from a mountain merge with the flow of a glacier in Iceland.

The first prize in the Nature and Landscape photography category, Amateur section, was awarded to the photograph "Waterfall" taken in the Lofoten Islands, Norway, by Carlos F. Turienzo.
