Bang & Olufsen collaborates with Ferrari to launch the "Ferrari" collection

On August 29, 2023, Bang & Olufsen announced a new collection in collaboration with the pioneer in motorsport - Ferrari.

The collection celebrates Bang & Olufsen’s aluminium excellence and the two brands’ shared passion for balance, strength and precision by reimagining a range of headphones and speakers: the Beosound 2 home speaker, the Beoplay H95 headphones, the Beoplay EX headphones and the Beosound Explore portable speaker. All share a striking red hue, creating an unmistakable connection to the Ferrari brand identity.

Both brands have been pioneering innovation for over half a century. Bang & Olufsen has been shaping the global sight and sound landscape since 1925, from Struer, Denmark, while Ferrari has been disrupting the automotive industry since 1947, in Maranello, Italy. Over 150 years of innovation between both brands has been honed and curated in this collaboration.

The collection takes a different approach to Bang & Olufsen’s tradition, explains Christoffer Poulsen, Senior Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships at Bang & Olufsen: “Our classic speakers are designed to blend naturally into people’s homes while highlighting their beauty. This collection is very different. They are statement pieces. Like supercars, they are seen and heard everywhere they go.”

Beosound 2 delivers a 360-degree home audio experience that fills any space it's placed in. Its design is flexible enough to allow for floor, table, or shelf placement, and it can be moved easily from room to room. In the Ferrari Collection, Beosound 2 is anodized at Bang & Olufsen's Factory 5 in Struer, redefining the design in Ferrari's signature red. The aluminium body is polished to a high gloss, enhancing the red hue. A Ferrari emblem beneath the grille completes the look.

The headphones combine Ferrari’s all-black, timeless classic style with laser-engraved Bang & Olufsen logos and the Ferrari Prancing Horse. Beneath the earcups, the titanium speaker grilles have been anodized in a deep red, chosen specifically for this collaboration.

Beosound Explore is the perfect portable speaker for the outdoors. With an IP67 rating, meaning it's completely dust and water resistant, Beosound Explore is made to go anywhere. With Bluetooth and Quick Pairing, music is always just a click away and lasts all day with up to 27 hours of playtime.

The Beosound Explore now comes with a laser-etched Ferrari Prancing Horse emblem and a striking black carabiner for any adventure. The dual-layer body is anodized in red and black, allowing the grille to stand out instantly against dark interiors.
