Bau Trang has cool, clear water in the middle of the scorching sun.
Bau Cat - also means sand lake (bau is lake in local dialect) belongs to Hoa Thang district, Binh Thuan province. To get to Bau Cat, you should choose the route that goes through Mui Ne - Hon Rom tourist area if coming from Phan Thiet. If coming from Phan Rang, at Luong Tay intersection, turn onto road 716, go about 20 kilometers through the red soil hills, when you see the color of the soil gradually lighten and then turn to sparkling white sand, you will reach Bau Cat, where you can see Hoa Thang beach in the distance, after a long stretch of sand.
Bau Cat is quiet and wild because all around is white sand. The vast sand dunes continue one after another, the sand waves undulating vaguely when the winds from the sea carry the sand dust that clings to the silver-white hillsides. Everything is dry and cracked, it seems that nothing can grow and survive in this harsh land. Yet in the midst of that vast, dry white sand, Bau Cat appears clear and cool.

The lotus season in June, Bau Sen makes the whole lake change to a romantic pink color.
