At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Quy Tan, Head of the Tourism Department of the Quang Nam Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, announced the decision to recognize Bel Maria Hoi An Resort as a 5-star resort for a period of 5 years from the date of signing and to allow it to display a bronze plaque indicating its quality as recognized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Next, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hong, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Nam province, presented the 5-star certification decision to the resort's representative, Mr. Robert Menzies Francis – General Manager of the resort, and unveiled the 5-star bronze plaque in the presence of customers, partners and the press.

Robert Menzies Francis, General Manager of Bel Marina Hoi An Resort, shared, “Our journey began a year ago, and our team has worked tirelessly to create the Bel Marina Hoi An Resort we see today. This is a milestone marking the most wonderful moment for the resort as we are awarded a 5-star rating by the Vietnam National Tourism Administration, and we are all very proud.”
At the same time, Mr. Robert Menzies Francis shared Bel Marina Hoi An Resort's commitment to a sustainable resort model and contributing to carbon emission reduction. He also hoped that Bel Marina Hoi An Resort would become a favorite destination and the preferred choice for all tourists visiting Hoi An.

During the event, guests also enjoyed cultural performances such as Cham dance, Vietnamese conical hat dance, folk dance with lanterns, and participated in local traditional cultural activities such as making Hoi An fabric lanterns, creating pottery products from Thanh Ha pottery village, receiving calligraphy from calligraphers, or watching T'Rung instrument performances.
