On November 21st, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province, stated that the Provincial People's Committee has assigned the department to lead and coordinate with other departments, agencies, and localities to establish a team to inspect and review tourism and service businesses in the area.
Businesses and service establishments in Lam Dong province that are found to be in violation of regulations will have their information publicly disclosed on local websites so that residents and tourists can be aware of it.
Spontaneous tourism businesses, lacking the necessary regulatory conditions, exhibit dishonest business practices, uncivilized behavior, and fail to ensure the safety of tourists.

The inspection team focused on the legal conditions for investment, construction, and business operations, ensuring compliance with regulations for conditional business sectors such as security and order, fire prevention and control, food safety and hygiene, and occupational safety and hygiene.
In addition, the standards regarding workers, price registration, and public price listing of these establishments are also inspected. According to Ms. Ngoc, the inspection process is conducted openly, transparently, and objectively, and depending on the severity and nature of the violations, appropriate measures will be taken in accordance with regulations.
Specifically, when authorities discover that services do not fully meet safety standards, they will resolutely suspend the service's operation until it meets all the required conditions.

The inter-agency team will compile reports and publicly disclose information about tourism and service businesses on the provincial electronic portal, the website of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the website of the Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center, smart tourism applications, and other appropriate forms. This aims to facilitate tourists in easily choosing quality and reputable tourism businesses.
Recently, several tourists visiting Lam Dong have encountered problems. Most recently, on the morning of October 26th, a South Korean female tourist visiting Langbiang Mountain fell to her death while taking photos on a rocky outcrop. Following this incident, the business announced the suspension of all tourist activities at the Langbiang tourist area until further notice.
Previously, on October 24th, a sudden flood swept through a stream in the Cu Lan Village tourist area in Lac Duong district, resulting in the deaths of four South Korean tourists. The Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee has requested local authorities and companies to strengthen management and review the operation of adventure and outdoor tourism tours to ensure the safety of visitors.
