What means of transportation will we use?
Transportation infrastructure from Hanoi to Quang Ninh is very convenient, with many options to choose from. Each mode of transport offers a different experience along the journey.
If you prefer traveling by motorbike, you can choose one of two routes: the shortest route follows National Highway 5, turns towards Bac Ninh, and then follows Highway 18; or you can go towards Noi Bai Airport via Bac Ninh and then switch to National Highway 18A. Both routes have very clear signposts. You can also check Google Maps to choose the route that suits you best.

Every day, numerous buses depart for Quang Ninh from bus stations such as Giap Bat, My Dinh, and Gia Lam, with ticket prices varying depending on the type of bus. You can choose a regular bus, sleeper bus, or limousine depending on your budget.
Trains to Ha Long depart from Yen Vien station (Hanoi). However, this is a slow train, the journey time is quite long, and the station is quite far from the city center, so you should consider this before traveling.
Although Hanoi and Quang Ninh are relatively close, you can still choose to travel by seaplane from Noi Bai Airport to Tuan Chau, a journey that takes 45 minutes.
