In Quy Nhon, thousands of tourists have registered to book rooms at many hotels and coastal resorts before the April 30 and May 1 holidays.
"Many coastal resorts and hotels were fully booked after tourists learned that the locality would hold many events, festivals and fireworks displays coinciding with the April 30 and May 1 holidays," said Tran Van Thanh, Director of Binh Dinh Department of Tourism.
Meanwhile, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Vu, Chairman of Binh Dinh Tourism Association and Director of Hoang Yen Hotel Complex, added that three 3- and 4-star hotels of Hoang Yen have so far been fully booked by tourists, more than 80% of the total 200 rooms for the April 30 and May 1 holidays.
"We still keep the room rates the same and include breakfast at the hotels to serve tourists. Many festivals, especially the province organizes fireworks displays during the holidays, so the number of tourists booking rooms has increased dramatically compared to previous years," said Mr. Vu.
