The workshop was held on July 8, 2019 at Daewoo Hotel (360 Kim Ma, Ngoc Khanh, Ba Dinh, Hanoi). At the workshop, representatives of the General Department of Tourism, representatives of the Tourism Association, Hotel Association, representatives of the Department of Culture, Sports & Tourism of Binh Duong, representatives of Becamex Hospitality Group, along with managers, scientists, departments, agencies and businesses operating in the tourism sector will speak and exchange ideas to find solutions to develop Binh Duong Tourism in general and Becamex Hospitality Hotel Group in particular.

Binh Duong is a province in the Southeast region, located in the Southern key economic zone. This land has many favorable conditions for comprehensive socio-economic development, including tourism. With a favorable location, only about 30km from the center of Ho Chi Minh City, the province has key traffic routes such as National Highway 1, National Highway 13 that can easily connect with countries in the region and the world. The province has 3 large rivers flowing through (Saigon River, Dong Nai River, Be River), creating beautiful natural landscapes, lush green orchards, suitable for eco-tourism and resorts. The land of Binh Duong, past and present, is also known for its rich and diverse history and culture, with many common features blended into the history and culture of the South, but still retains its own unique features, contributing to Binh Duong's great potential for tourism development, including industrial tourism, eco-tourism, cultural and spiritual tourism.

In recent years, the province's socio-economic situation has developed quite well and stably, the economic structure has shifted positively, social security issues have been paid attention to, and people's lives have been gradually improved. In particular, the operation of Binh Duong's tourism industry has developed clearly, and total tourism revenue in recent years has tended to increase. According to statistics in 2017, the province attracted 4.55 million visitors, with total tourism revenue reaching 1,280 billion VND; in 2018, it attracted 4.75 million visitors, with total revenue reaching 1,360 billion VND.
In the tourism development orientation, Binh Duong has identified river tourism as a strategic product in the development orientation of the province's tourism products in the coming time.
Focus on maintaining and prioritizing the development of three tourism spaces of the province including: Southern space (Eco-tourism (garden tourism, river tourism), cultural tourism (visiting historical sites, festivals, craft villages, spirituality, beliefs), entertainment, weekend resorts, shopping, MICE, high-end sports,... Northwest space (Resort tourism, historical and cultural tourism, eco-tourism), Eastern space (Eco-tourism, weekend resort tourism, high-end sports tourism).
Binh Duong province strives to develop the tourism industry sustainably and professionally, gradually becoming an important economic sector in the province's economic structure, contributing to changing the face of Binh Duong city in the future. By 2030, Binh Duong tourism industry is expected to be ranked among the localities with strong tourism development in the country and the region.

Contributing and accompanying the development of Binh Duong tourism is the continuous development of Becamex Hospitality Hotel Group.
