Today, alongside the rapid development of industry, the need for rest and recreation centered around nature is an essential human need. Tourists are increasingly seeking out areas that have preserved their pristine nature, largely undisturbed by human impact, to experience the freshness, tranquility, and many other wonders that can only be found in nature.

Therefore, Cat Tien National Park, home to one of the world's highest biodiversity resources, has become a destination of interest for many domestic and international tourists. Cat Tien National Park is a nature reserve located in five districts: Tan Phu, Vinh Cuu (Dong Nai), Cat Tien, Bao Lam (Lam Dong), and Bu Dang (Binh Phuoc), 150 km north of Ho Chi Minh City. It is home to nearly 1,500 identified animal species and 1,610 identified plant species, and is situated in one of the world's most biodiverse areas. Its transitional terrain between hills and plains, bordered by the Dong Nai River for over 90 km, has endowed Cat Tien with attractive resources for developing unique ecotourism products that humans cannot create.
Since the mid-1990s, ecotourism activities in Cat Tien National Park have been implemented spontaneously, starting simply with guiding and serving the basic needs of tourists.

Currently, with the rapid growth in the number of tourists, the increasingly stringent demands for services necessitate a restructuring of tourism activities towards greater professionalism and a gradual improvement in quality.
In response to this practical need, Cat Tien National Park will organize a Tourism Promotion Conference on June 11th and 12th, 2019, to introduce existing tourism products and services to partners, and to listen to their contributions in improving service quality and developing new products that suit tourist preferences.

In addition, opinions from state management agencies, scientists, and researchers will be essential for planning and guiding tourism development, and for rationally exploiting the existing potential from the natural and human resources of Cat Tien National Park.
Through this conference, Cat Tien National Park hopes to receive attention and support from state management agencies; advice from scientists; and aims to strengthen cooperation and attract investment to further improve tourism activities.
