Peaceful, pristine beaches of the ancient capital city of Hue.

Located more than 20 km from the center of Hue City, the communes of Quang Ngan and Quang Cong (Quang Dien district) boast 12 km of coastline with many beautiful beaches such as Tan My, Cuong Giang, Tan Thanh… featuring clear blue water and long stretches of white sand. Notably, the sea here retains its pristine beauty, offering rustic yet distinctive local cuisine combined with the traditional cultural values ​​of the people.

Unlike the bustling and lively Thuan An (Hue City) or Vinh Thanh (Phu Vang District), Tan Thanh beach (Quang Cong commune, Quang Dien district) boasts a pristine, unspoiled beauty along with romantic roads.

Located on the main road in the center of the commune, connecting Tam Giang Lagoon with the sea and passing through Con Gai Market, Tan Thanh is not yet very crowded. The beach is still quite pristine, with few traces of human impact. The long, gently sloping sandy beach is quite safe, and the clear, clean seawater is a major plus that attracts tourists.

Having had the opportunity to visit Tan Thanh beach, Hoang The Lap (20 years old, Huong Tra commune - Thua Thien Hue) shared: “The road from the city to the beach is very beautiful, only a few sections are in poor condition, but it's comfortable to travel by motorbike or car. You can follow the map and look for 'Quang Cong beach' which will lead you to Tan Thanh beach.”

To reach the beach, visitors must pass through peaceful alleys surrounded by green casuarina trees, with houses lining both sides of the road. The sight of local children playing freely creates a feeling of closeness and familiarity, like returning to the innocent days of childhood. "The children here have such clear eyes; when I point my camera at them, they get shy and run away," the student recalled.

Arriving at Tan Thanh beach around 4:30 PM, The Lap was immediately impressed by the clear blue water and the sight of boats resting peacefully on the sand. Not noisy or crowded, the beach offered a unique beauty, a slow pace of life, and friendly people.

On the long stretch of sand, many locals sit along the shore under the shade of trees to chat and enjoy the breeze. Meanwhile, children excitedly run, jump, and play with the white foamy waves under the warm golden sunlight.

On a weekend afternoon, The Lap had the opportunity to enjoy the fresh air, breathe in the salty sea breeze, gaze at the vast, clear blue sea, listen to the sound of the waves, and immerse himself in the simple life of the local people. All of this created a peaceful, tranquil scene unique to a rural beach.

Tan Thanh Beach still retains its pristine beauty, untouched by tourist resorts, hotels, restaurants, or any other services. The Gen Z guy suggests that visitors can swim and camp for free, but due to the lack of services, careful preparation is necessary. In particular, visitors should be mindful of keeping quiet and cleaning up before leaving to preserve the area's beauty.

If you have the chance to visit the beach at sunset, you will witness a breathtaking scene as you watch the fishing boats return, from their fleeting glimpses in the distance to the clear sight of the fresh, wriggling fish. In the early morning, the Tan Thanh sea area is bustling with boats docking to unload their herring, and traders come to buy them right on the shore.
