The captivating natural scenery during many trips from North to South has strongly inspired Bui Van Hai (Haionthego) to diligently capture special moments. "Before the pandemic, I took a lot of photos, but it was not until the social distancing period that I shared them with everyone. At that time, almost no one could go anywhere, so photos of nature and people were a means to help people travel everywhere and freely feel the beauty of the country," Van Hai said.
Bui Van Hai is currently an impressive multi-platform travel content creator, with the fanpage Vietnam Beauty, instagram @haionthego and tiktok A Glimpse of Vietnam.
Most of the photos taken by Bui Van Hai use flycam equipment, so the scene has a high level of coverage. Looking down from above, the fishermen are busy pulling in their nets to harvest, the vast rice fields stretching far and wide, or the crystal clear salt fields reflecting the clouds and sky... all appear incredibly beautiful.

The hardest part of photography, especially landscape photography, is capturing the moment. To get the photos he wants, Van Hai sometimes has to spend 2-3 years. Every year he goes to that location 2-3 times to "hunt" for the moment. Patience is both difficult and "necessary" for a photographer.
"Although the scenery is the same, the photos all contain completely different spirits. Because in each moment, the emotions, mindset, and experiences also have different points. Each moment is beautiful in its own way," Travel Photographer Bui Van Hai shared.

Travel photographer Bui Van Hai loves the working and living scenes of coastal fishermen. According to him, it is not too difficult to take photos from above with a flycam. But to approach and capture that scene from an unknown location on the sea is not easy. For almost the past 2 years, he has been going to Phu Yen for 15-30 days each time to capture the most authentic and special scenes of people throwing fishing nets.
Taking close-up photos of fishing boats offshore is no easy task.
Bui Van Hai inherently emphasizes the criteria for creating a satisfactory photo. He values the inherent naturalness of activities, and rarely intervenes to create an unnatural aesthetic. The original color of the landscape also needs to be respected, so he mostly just adds accents to complete the photo, keeping the clarity of the scene so that viewers can touch the most realistic scene.
