Choosing Europe as the destination to celebrate his parents' love, Mau Quang Minh (42 years old), the owner of this photo series, shared: “I love the romantic and ancient charm of European countries. They have historical streets, famous landmarks, and lots of delicious food. I think it fits the idea I had for the photo series of my parents.”
The photo series was taken over 18 days, traveling through 7 countries: France, Belgium, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, and Italy. The beauty of the European cities, combined with the more than 45-year love story of the 74-year-old couple, made the setting even more romantic and classic.
Each country has its own unique charm, but every photograph, every location, subtly reflects the grace of Vietnam through the familiar ao dai dress and conical hat.
Most of the beautiful moments of the couple were captured in Paris – the city that Minh and his parents love the most. A romantic city with the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre Museum, the Arc de Triomphe, the Champs Élysée...
Autumn also brings Europe to life as people return from their summer holidays. The cool weather makes strolls through the parks even more enchanting, under the golden foliage and in the fresh air.
This trip to Europe was a special gift Minh wanted to give his parents for their sacrifices and dedication to their beautiful love story over the past decades. Not only captured in photographs, Europe has become an unforgettable part of the couple's memories.
