According to the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, from May 7, airlines are allowed to remove regulations on seat spacing as well as limits on the number of passengers on planes; at the same time, regulations on flight frequency restrictions on the Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh City/Da Nang routes will be removed.
To ensure epidemic prevention, passengers must still keep a distance of 1 meter when checking in, security screening, and boarding at airports.
Currently, passengers on the plane are arranged to sit one seat apart, except for groups of passengers who are family members or acquaintances with the same ticket code. In addition, passengers are still required to declare their health, have their temperature checked, wear masks, disinfect their hands, and limit talking and eating during the trip.

Also from May 7, the Ministry of Transport decided to remove seat spacing on passenger cars, buses, taxis, trains and ships.
