Bang & Olufsen launches the new Beoplay A9.

Bang & Olufsen recently launched the Beoplay A9 (2019) – the latest version of the iconic design from the Danish audio-visual brand – which is recognized by enthusiasts as the company's most successful speaker to date, boasting outstanding aesthetics and sound quality.

The Beoplay A9, designed in 2012, is a wireless speaker for home entertainment that also serves as a beautiful piece of furniture. With its rich sound and high aesthetic appeal, it can stand on wooden legs or be mounted on a wall to fill any living space. Controlling the speaker is simple and enjoyable, using light taps to adjust volume or pressing to skip tracks, play/pause music.

  • With the launch of Google Assistant, the Beoplay A9 is one of the most powerful speakers that allows users to control the device via voice commands.
  • Active Room Compensation technology optimizes sound performance based on the surrounding environment, giving you the best possible sound regardless of speaker placement.
  • Two additional full-range drivers at the back of the Beoplay A9 (now with a total of seven drivers) provide a much wider and more impressive soundstage than the previous version.
  • Newer and more powerful streaming tools for faster performance on your connection, such as Chromecast and Apple Airplay 2.
  • Paying attention to even the smallest details, the outer strap of the Beoplay A9 is now completely covered in fabric, giving it a stylish and elegant look.

The Beoplay A9 is available in white with oak legs, black with walnut legs, and two special editions in bronze and brass tones. However, you can easily personalize the A9 with a variety of speaker upholstery fabrics from Kvadrat – Denmark's most renowned fabric supplier – and different wooden legs.
