Like many other couples, Judith and Robin (Frankfurt, Germany) also have an endless passion for world travel. After traveling around the globe, the couple feared that the memories of the places they visited would soon be forgotten. Wondering how to preserve their memories, in 2014, the two found the answer: instead of taking normal photos, they would recreate movie scenes filmed at that location.

Initially, the trips were spontaneous and without any specific planning, but after coming up with a unique idea, the couple spent more time researching their next destination. They chose their favorite movie scenes and then built a travel plan around the filming location.

To recreate the scene as accurately as possible, Judith and Robin also invested more in costumes for the photo shoot. To save money, the couple did not buy too many new clothes but borrowed from friends and relatives.
The couple had to rent costumes to recreate scenes from Game of Thrones.
Finding the location for the photo shoot was not easy either. The reason was that the landscape or the city had changed a lot over the years. In addition, some scenes in the movie were edited and added special effects, so it was difficult to recreate exactly.
The scenes in Game of Death are difficult to recreate due to the use of special effects.
There are also problems that arise: “When we go to these places, they are often different than expected. It can be rainy when we need sunshine, crowded when we need it to be deserted or very cold when we need shorts,” Judith shared.
Another scene was also difficult to do because there were too many people passing by.
Although difficult, the final result still made both satisfied and pleased.

At first, the two considered it a hobby between the two of them and only shared it with a few close friends. In 2018, the two decided to post it on social media to preserve this memory. The couple's interesting photos were loved by netizens and shared everywhere.

Sharing about her sudden fame, Judith said she just wanted to keep this as a personal hobby, not turning it into a form of entertainment for the online community to make money. The couple has no intention of quitting their current jobs to become professional bloggers. No one sponsors their posts or activities, neither of them come from wealthy families, they pay for their own holidays.

Judith is a journalist and Robin is an engineer. They work hard to earn money for travel. Every year they spend six weeks traveling the world and taking photos.

In addition to the praise of the online community, Judith and Robin's photos also caught the attention of famous actors in the movies that the couple reenacted. The actors left witty comments and even shared them on their personal pages. This made the couple even happier.
