Electronic visas will be issued to citizens of 80 countries starting July 1st.

From July 1st, citizens of 80 countries will be granted e-visas when going through immigration procedures in Vietnam. Along with this, the Government has also issued a list of international border gates that allow foreigners to enter and exit with e-visas.

The government has just issued Resolution 79/NQ-CP on the list of countries whose citizens are eligible for e-visas; and the list of international border gates allowing foreigners to enter and exit with e-visas, effective from July 1st.

Specifically, the Government has decided on a list of 80 countries whose citizens are eligible for electronic visas in accordance with the Law on Entry, Exit, Transit, and Residence of Foreigners in Vietnam.

The list of countries includes: Austria, Poland, Belgium, Portugal, United Arab Emirates, Federal Republic of Germany, India, South Korea, United States, Italy, Finland, France, China...

The list of international border crossings that allow foreigners to enter and exit with e-visas includes: 8 air border crossings, 16 land border crossings, and 13 sea border crossings.

Specifically, eight air border crossings allow foreigners to enter and exit with electronic visas, including the following international airports: Noi Bai, Tan Son Nhat, Cam Ranh, Da Nang, Cat Bi, Can Tho, Phu Quoc, and Phu Bai.

The 16 land border gates are international border gates: Tay Trang (Dien Bien); Mong Cai (Quang Ninh); Huu Nghi (Lang Son); Lao Cai (Lao Cai); Na Meo (Thanh Hoa); Nam Can (Nghe An); Cau Treo (Ha Tinh), Cha Lo (Quang Binh); La Lay, Lao Bao (Quang Tri); Bo Y (Kon Tum); Moc Bai, Xa Mat (Tay Ninh); Tinh Bien, Song Tien (An Giang); Ha Tien (Kien Giang).

Thirteen seaports allow foreigners to enter and exit with electronic visas, including the following ports: Hon Gai, Cam Pha (Quang Ninh province); Hai Phong (Hai Phong city); Nghi Son (Thanh Hoa province); Vung Ang (Ha Tinh province); Chan May (Thua Thien Hue province); Da Nang (Da Nang city); Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa province); Quy Nhon (Binh Dinh province); Dung Quat (Quang Ngai province); Vung Tau (Ba Ria - Vung Tau province); Ho Chi Minh City (Ho Chi Minh City); and Duong Dong (Kien Giang province).
