The Government has just issued Resolution 79/NQ-CP on the list of countries whose citizens are granted electronic visas; the list of international border gates allowing foreigners to enter and exit with electronic visas, effective from July 1.
Specifically, the Government has decided on a list of countries whose citizens are granted electronic visas according to the provisions of the Law on Entry, Exit, Transit and Residence of Foreigners in Vietnam, including 80 countries.
The list of countries includes: Austria, Poland, Belgium, Portugal, United Arab Emirates, Federal Republic of Germany, India, South Korea, United States, Italy, Finland, France, China...

The list of international border gates allowing foreigners to enter and exit with electronic visas includes: 8 air border gates, 16 land border gates and 13 sea border gates.
Specifically, 8 air ports allow foreigners to enter and exit the country with electronic visas, including international airports: Noi Bai, Tan Son Nhat, Cam Ranh, Da Nang, Cat Bi, Can Tho, Phu Quoc and Phu Bai.
The 16 land border gates are international border gates: Tay Trang (Dien Bien); Mong Cai (Quang Ninh); Huu Nghi (Lang Son); Lao Cai (Lao Cai); Na Meo (Thanh Hoa); Nam Can (Nghe An); Cau Treo (Ha Tinh), Cha Lo (Quang Binh); La Lay, Lao Bao (Quang Tri); Bo Y (Kon Tum); Moc Bai, Xa Mat (Tay Ninh); Tinh Bien, Song Tien (An Giang); Ha Tien (Kien Giang).

13 seaports allow foreigners to enter and exit the country with electronic visas, including the following ports: Hon Gai, Cam Pha (Quang Ninh province); Hai Phong (Hai Phong city); Nghi Son (Thanh Hoa province); Vung Ang (Ha Tinh province); Chan May (Thua Thien Hue province); Da Nang (Da Nang city); Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa province); Quy Nhon (Binh Dinh province); Dung Quat (Quang Ngai province); Vung Tau (Ba Ria - Vung Tau province); Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC); Duong Dong (Kien Giang province).
