Free visa application fee for Korea

To welcome the 30th ASEAN-Korea Summit taking place in Busan (Korea) from November 25-26, Korea has decided to waive visa application fees for short-term visas (C-3) for citizens of Southeast Asian countries.

Specifically, from now until the end of the year (October 1, 2019 - December 31, 2019), citizens of ASEAN countries including Vietnam will be exempted from fees for short-term visas (C-3) or 3-month single-entry visas (single visas). The program does not apply to multiple visas (multiple entry visas) of 5 years, 10 years, study abroad, marriage, other short-term work, etc.

In addition, visa applicants are only exempted from visa application fees ($20-30) but still have to pay the Korean Visa Application Center fee (VND 390,000).
