Visa application for South Korea is free of charge.

To celebrate the 30th ASEAN-Korea Summit held in Busan, South Korea, from November 25-26, South Korea has decided to waive visa application fees for short-term visas (C-3) for citizens of Southeast Asian countries.

Specifically, from now until the end of the year (October 1, 2019 - December 31, 2019), citizens of ASEAN countries, including Vietnam, will be exempt from fees for short-term visas (C-3) or 3-month single-entry visas. This program does not apply to multiple-entry visas (5-year, 10-year, student, marriage, or other short-term work visas).

In addition, visa applicants are only exempt from the visa application fee ($20-30) but must still pay the Korea Visa Application Center fee (390,000 VND).
