This unique 1.5m tall Christmas tree took over two weeks to complete. Green scissors were used as branches, while lighters and Swiss army knives were used as the main decorations. Other decorations on the tree include a bullet, a knife with fake blood and a fake gun, while the top star is made of sword blades.

It is worth noting that everything on the tree falls under the category of items that passengers are prohibited from carrying in their luggage. "The purpose of this is to send an educational message about the importance of aviation security," a spokesperson for Vilnius Airport said.

Knives, scissors, lighters, blades, and all other dangerous goods are prohibited items in carry-on luggage and will be removed during the airport screening process. Airport officials advise passengers to take extra care when packing their luggage if they do not want these dangerous personal items to become one of the decorations on this unique "Christmas" tree.

Earlier this year, Vilnius was named the cheapest European city destination. The average price of two nights in a three-star hotel, plus extras like a glass of wine, a three-course dinner and an art gallery ticket, was just £147.35 – down 11% on last year.
